EECS students embark on their visit to the University of Technology Malaysia (UTM).
On July 3, 2025, 30 students from the 2024 class of Communication Engineering (Top-notch Talent Innovation Program) at the School of Information Science and Engineering, Ningbo University, departed from Ningbo Lishe International Airport for Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) to participate in a one-month overseas academic exchange program. On the afternoon of July 4th, UTM held a grand opening ceremony for the visiting group from Ningbo University. Representatives of UTM faculty delivered a warm speech, introducing the school's long history and outstanding achievements in the field of engineering, and vividly sharing Malaysia's unique human geography and multicultural characteristics. During the ceremony, UTM teachers explained in detail the one-month study plan, which covers professional courses, practical projects, and cultural experience activities, providing a clear direction for the students' visiting study journey. After the opening ceremony, led by UTM teachers, the students visited the advanced laboratory area. The laboratory was well-equipped, with diverse research directions, and the strong academic atmosphere left a deep impression on everyone. Subsequently, the students took a bus to tour the campus, enjoying the unique landscape that combines century-old clock towers, Nanyang-style buildings, and modern buildings, as well as the beautiful natural scenery.
